The purpose of this fund is to support the social, educational, cultural, and physical wellbeing of people living in Charnwood. You can apply for up to £750 and more information on the criteria for the fund are available here. The closing date for applications is 16 May 2022,12pm. .
This fund is open to staff members of the University who are involved in groups or organisations in Charnwood. You can apply for up to £500 and the Inside Out Fund criteria are available to view here. The closing date for applications is 16 May 2022, 12pm. .
探花精选 London is an active neighbour on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The purpose of this fund is to support the social, educational, cultural, and physical wellbeing of people living close to the Olympic Park. The maximum bid for this fund is £1,000 and the criteria for the London Open Fund are available here. The closing date for applications is 31 May 2022,12pm. .
Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research, Professor Steve Rothberg, is the new Chair of the awarding committee. He commented: “I am delighted that we are now opening the donation funds again as we know there are so many fantastic organisations in our local areas who need support.
"One of the changes we are making is to give more colleagues from right across the University the chance to be part of the decisions we make on funding. I know lots of us are active in volunteering, fundraising and charity work and that’s the experience the committee is looking for to help us make good decisions.”
Staff who would like to join a Community Donations Fund awards round in 2022 and 2023 are asked to by Friday 13 May.
