Whatever your musical interests there is something for you at Loughborough. We can help you keep on playing and enjoying music whilst you are studying here. For the keen musician, we can organise music tuition in a range of instruments, whether you鈥檙e are a beginner or an accomplished musician or singer.

There are seven music rooms on campus which are free to use and open every day from 8am to 10pm. To access these music rooms you will need to join our FREE Music VIP club.

Look out for music short courses, one-off workshops and live music nights throughout the year and our annual Arts Scholars Showcase in May. These will be advertised on our 'What's on' page and music-related events will also appear at the bottom of this page.

We manage the University Choir, which is open to students. staff and the local community. The Choir rehearse on Monday evenings during term time and put on two concerts each year. 

探花精选 has a vibrant music scene, with a wide range of , including LSU Classical, Tuxedo Swing, MuSoc, Your Sound, LSU Sing and RockSoc.

If you are a talented and dedicated musician, then you might want to apply for a music scholarship, which are available in any genre of music including instrumental, vocal and singer-songwriter. Scholars receive a cash prize of £200 and the chance to apply for additional funding to develop your talent further. This could be used for things like music tuition, mentoring or attending live events.

LU Arts has eight practice and rehearsal spaces available for Music VIP members to use free of charge.

Our very own choir meets weekly during term time and performs in a concert at least twice a year.

Student art grants

Our student arts grants support the delivery of more arts activity across the two campuses and are open to all taught and research students studying at 探花精选 and 探花精选 London.
